Every commission begins with a conversation.

Rather than choosing from existing artwork, commissioning allows us to create a piece that feels entirely your own—designed with your home, your aesthetic, and the atmosphere you want to create in mind. Whether you arrive with a clear vision or only know how you want the space to feel, I'll guide you through each step of the process.

The Process

01 | Getting to Know Your Space
Our process begins with a complimentary consultation where we'll discuss your vision, your home, and how you want the artwork to live within the space.
Some clients arrive with inspiration images, dimensions, and a colour palette already in mind. Others simply know they want something unique. Both approaches are equally welcome.
Together we'll determine the ideal size, composition, colour palette, and overall direction for your painting.
02 | Designing Your Piece
Once we've established the vision, I'll create a concept inspired by your interior, natural light, textures, and existing furnishings.
You're welcome to share photographs of your room, architectural details, fabrics, or inspiration images. If you'd like guidance, I can also curate a mood board to help refine the direction before painting begins.
The goal is never simply to match a room—but to create artwork that belongs within it.
03 | Bringing the Painting to Life
Each piece is created intuitively through layers of plaster, paint, and texture, allowing the work to evolve naturally throughout the process.
As your painting develops, I'll share progress photographs so you can experience its evolution. This is a collaborative stage where we can discuss subtle refinements to ensure the finished work feels exactly right for your home.
04 | The Final Details
Once you're completely happy with the finished painting, the remaining balance is due before delivery.
Each artwork is carefully packaged and shipped using tracked and insured delivery whenever possible, ensuring it arrives safely at its new home.
05 | Living with the Work
The most rewarding part of the process is knowing your painting has become part of your everyday life.
My hope is that years from now, you'll still notice something new as the light changes throughout the day—and that the piece continues to feel as though it was always meant to live in your home.
